St. John's University Coat of Arms, 1914. Drawn in black on white paper, 4 5/8 inches w x 4 3/4 inches high. Shield in the center with symbols representing the sun shining on the pines, and possibly the North Star. Two monks, one on either side of the shield, representing "Ora et labora." The monk on the left holds a book; the one on the right holds a shovel. Above the shield is the word "Pax" in a wreath. Below the shield is a scroll with the words "Deus dat incrementum."
