Observatory Record, 1916-1956, 1974
Cover: Observatory
First pages tell the story of obtaining a new 6-inch telescope to replace the 4-inch telescope St. John's had used since 1895. Peter Engel had promised St. Martin's in Lacey, Washington, in 1914 that he would give them our largest telescope. Getting a new telescope necessitated some alterations to the observatory building. This section has been digitized.
Log of astronomical observations. Some include sketches.
