Plans on brown kraft paper to mark locations of mounting bolts on piers for telescopes in St. John's University observatory (apple orchard):

24" Diameter Circle for 12 1/2" Model D Custom Observatory.

18" Diameter Circle for 8" Deluxe RFT.

16" x 20" for 10" Super Deluxe.

Sent by Cave Optical Company to St. John's, at the request of Melchior Freund.

Magnus Wenninger Letter

Letter from Magnus Wenninger to Fintan Bromenshenkel, June 21, 1958. Proposes a shadow-calendar and shadow-clock for St. John's, and encloses design.

Fintan forwarded the letter and drawing to Joachim Watrin.

George N. Saegmuller Letter

Letter from George N. Saegmuller of Fauth & Co. to Peter Engel, March 1, 1894. About transit, clock, and chronograph for observatory. St. John's already had an equatorial telescope. This letter was in the back of Observatory Record, 1903-1908.
