Four individual instrument parts appear to be from the earliest version of this piece (2 trumpets, 1 tombone, and timpani), though there is no score. Another set of instrumental parts appear to be photocopies of the original individual instrumental parts with alterations in them (i.e. the altered set has no brass or timpani on stanza 2; whereas, the original does. This motet is Richard Proulx’s arrangement of Joseph Noyon’s Maître de Chapelle de Saint-Honoré d’Eylau à Paris. It is unclear if this copy manuscript was ever published. Proulx wrote two versions. Both include brass, organ, choral, and timpani parts. Version A, however, is written for 3 trumpets and 3 trombones; whereas version B has only 2 trumpets and 2 trombones.
