“Follow Me” is an anthem which was commissioned for the 1995 papal Mass in New York’s Central Park (according to a letter included in the file, the papal visit was cancelled, however). This piece is written for SATB choir, 3 trumpets in C, Horns in F, 3 trombones, tuba, timpani, timpani, and organ accompaniment. Included in this file are the following: 3 manuscript scores (with revisions); 1 keyboard reduction of the instrumental parts; and a letter from Richard Proulx to Mr. John-Michael Caprio, Executive Director of the Commission on Church Music for the Archdiocese of New York (in which Proulx does the following: thanks Mr. Caprio for commissioning this and many other pieces for the papal visit, speaks about what pleases him about the piece, and identifies this piece as being one of his very best works).
