The following is written on the bottom of the vocal descant page: "This tune is attributed to W.A. Mozart (1756-1791) and appears in K. 439, a trio for 2 sopranos and bass, written between 1793 and 1786. William Gawler adapted it for his 'Hymns and Psalms' published ca. 1790. The soprano descant and instrumentation are by Richard Proulx."

Proulx wrote this alleluia in 1980 and added a descant in 2002. It is unclear if this has ever been published.
