This goal implies the creation of a common campus culture as well as the preservation and enhancement of the best in each separate campus culture. "Additionally, the goal calls for the consolidation of services wherever separate services are not necessary to foster the growth of men and women students. This means the joining of functions wherever such consolidation could either strengthen the function or preserve resources to be more effectively allocated elsewhere."
