Scope and Contents
Benedictine University College Subcommittee, 1994-2000: In 1976, the College of Saint Benedict established the Bahamas Extension Program at the request of two Bahamian alumnae, Telzina Coakley (in the Bahamas national government for education) and Sister Maedene Russell (Superintendent of the Catholic School System in the Bahamas). It remained under CSB until 1993 when the program became a coordinate program and was named the Benedictine University College. A subcommittee was established under the Joint Academic Affairs Committee in 1993-1994. See also "Benedictine University College History," 1998 in AC 07.47.F07 Box 02.
