Minutes of Joint Academic Affairs Committee December 2, 2004 Approval of Minutes of October 18, 2004 (transferred to October 18, 2004) Proposed Strategic Directions: Committee welcomed the clarity of the direction, account- ability and time frames of the present revision and supported the strategic directions and the planning templates that they reviewed and discussed. However the faculty development investment issue and the increased balance in the Spirituality Design need further attention. Academic Affairs and Student Development Collaboration on Student Centered Learning The Committee agrees that while Student Development and Academic Affairs is not the sole way to increase academic ethos, it is strategy.
