The Articles of Incorporation provided for the College to be governed by corporate members and a Board of Trustees but no distinct functions were stated for the Corporate Members chose to have members of the Board also serve as the corporate members; In October 1976, the Articles were amended to provide that the corporate members be distinct from the Board members, with separate functions.
