Betty Wahl Powers' Typewriter, 1958 1959

Betty Wahl Powers' Typewriter. Olive drab manual typewriter, Olympia, with darker olive keys with white lettering. Black plastic knobs and rollers, chrome fittings. Has a brace which swings up in back of the paper. In a gray metal case with olive green plastic handle. "P" sticker for Hanseatic Lines, on top of older sticker. Also a larger Cunard Lines label for trip to Ireland, with Irish address for J.F. Powers. Betty Wahl was a CSB alumna, graduating in 1945, and a novelist in her own right. Donated to Archives by Betty's son Boz Powers, June 18, 2017.
