College of St. Benedict Embroidered Pennant
Scope and Contents
College of St. Benedict embroidered pennant.
Red felt triangular swallowtail pennant, 8 x 26.5 inches. 1/8 inch thick. Embroidered in white: "College of St. Benedict / St. Joseph Minnesota". Between the school name and the city is a torch embroidered in gold and orange. Behind the torch is a Benedictine cross in a circle, with the letters CSPB, embroidered in gold.
Undated. Probably before 1959, when S. Jacquelyn Dubay designed a college coat of arms.
Pennant has one pinhole about 1 inch from the inside of the swallowtail, but is otherwise in excellent condition.
