Scene in a Play

All-male cast, in costume. Studio photo.

The central figure is a man lying on a stretcher or cot. He is cradled by another man, as others look on. The young man at far right sports a fake mustache and holds a rifle.

There was originally a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch printed piece of paper, perhaps a program, affixed to the back of the mounting board, but only the corners remain.
