Seminarians are seated in pairs, all wearing cassocks, surplices, and birettas. Photo #2: Mass in seminary chapel. Priest kneeling at altar, with six assistants. Seminarians kneeling in pairs, in cassocks and surplices. Both are 5 x 7 inch black and white prints, taken from organ loft, sometime between 1953 and 1959. Donated to the University Archives by Bernard Kahlhammer, SJU '55, St. John's Seminary '59.
