Saint John's University basketball: building a tradition of team

Saint John's Unversity basketball, by longtime St. John's basketball coach Jim Smith and former player Paul Bernabei, is a history of the basketball team, mostly in the 1960s and later. Statistics and season results are interspersed with photos and essays by former players, coaches, and sportswriters.

The Archives' copy is inscribed by both authors.

Inserted in the Archives copy is a memorial card for Jim's wife Adrienne Joy Smith. Also inserted is a photo of the 1921 St. John's University Major League B intramural basketball team the Humps, with a message on the back in pencil from Roman Paur. Same photo as PC03.0727, Basketball volume 2, page 13.
