Proper for the feast of Christ the King, 1967

 Item
Identifier: P0005

Scope and Contents

men's chorus [TTB]; organ

On the front cover, the composer's name is misprinted as "Louis Huybrechts." Two scores have been corrected.

The originally published piece contained the following: I. Processional Antiphon and Psalm; II. Meditation Song and Alleluia; III. Offertory Anthem; IV. Communion Anthem. Here Proulx has chosen to make changes to the first of these four pieces: Processional Antiphon and Psalm (introit). It appears that he preferred to change the key (move it down from a minor to g minor), as well as make changes in the rhythm, timing, and/or wording at 5 different spots in the music. Also, on the cover of the published version, Proulx has written that the title should be either, "Sing Joyfully" or "A Merry Noise," followed by, "Easy Anthems by Richard Proulx."
