Where Your Glory Abides. (for (Cantor), Congregation, SATB Voices, Solo Trumpet & Organ). Text: Antiphon - Psalm 26: 8. Choral Verses: St. Symeon the Theologian, 949-1022. Music: Richard Proulx (1997). Referred to as "Invocation on Entering the Lord's House" on the original scores. 1 trumpet I in C part by Proulx's hand. Includes copies of Conductor's Score with and without Antiphon, engraved scores, trumpet parts, and a hymnal booklet entitled "A Millenium of Catholic Hymnody".
This piece, written by Proulx in 1997, is set for SATB choir, congregation, trumpet, and organ. It was originally dedicated to Brother Dietrich Reinhart, OSB, president of St. John's University, Collegeville, Minnesota (and then, after Dietrich's death, it was identified as being in memory of him). Apparently, Proulx had originally entitled this piece, "Invocation: On Entering the Lord's House." Included in this file are the following: two photocopies of the original score (manuscript), numerous engraved scores, 2 manuscripts of the trumpet (in C) part, numerous copies of the engraved trumpet (in C) part, and programs of a Hymn fest at which this piece was premiered. According to the internet, this piece was published by GIA (G-8065).
