Scope and Contents

This arrangement (by Proulx) of the hymn, "All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name" (tune: CORONATION) is written for congregation with accompaniment by organ, 3 trumpets, 3 trombones, and timpani. There is a 10 measure instrumental introduction. Included in this file are the following: 2 sketches of possible harmonizations (A and B); a sketch of the brass and timpani parts; an organ part for the whole piece which includes a score for stanza 4 (with parts for timpani and 4 horns in F, though the individual horn parts are not included in this file); an additional manuscript of the organ part for stanza 4; a score of the introduction (brass and timpani parts only); individual parts for the following instruments: trumpets I & II in C (though the last 2 measures of stanzas 1-3 and all of stanza 4 are missing); trumpet III in C; trombones I and II, trombone III, and timpani. It is unclear if this arrangement has been published. Also included in this file are photocopies of two previously published organ accompaniments by other composers.
