When in our music God is glorified / Charles, V. Stanford ; Richard Proulx. Subtitled : Hymn-Anthem for SATB Voices and Organ on the tune Engelberg This work, music originally written by Stanford, was arranged by Proulx for two brass choirs.
Proulx arranged Stanford's "When in Our Music God is Glorified" for organ, 4 trumpets in C, 4 trombones, 2 horns in F, tuba, timpani, SATB choir and congregation. The organ part contains 13 measures of introduction written by Proulx, but the rest of the organ part is Stanford's. The other instrument parts are by Proulx. These parts are divided into two "choirs" (choir I: trumpets 1 & 2, trombones 1 & 2, 2 horns in F; choir 2: trumpets 3 & 4, trombones 3 & 4, tuba). In addition, there is a timpani part.
