Scope and Contents

Salve festa dies / Ralph Vaughan Williams ; Richard Proulx. This arrangement of Vaughan Williams' Salve festa dies was written by Proulx in 1977. The work was arranged for voice, organ, four horns in F, three trumpets, two trombones, tuba, and timpani.

There are 2 identical scores of Proulx's arrangement of SALVE FESTA DIES that includes congregation, soprano descant, organ, 4 horns in F, timpani. In addition, there is another sketch of an arrangement for only brass: 2 trumpets, 4 horns in F, 2 trombones, and tuba. On this second arrangement, Proulx wrote the word, "SEATTLE" at the top of the page (unclear what he was referring to here). It is unclear if either of these arrangements have been published.
