Prelude on a Greek chant : "lumen hilare"

Prelude on a Greek chant : "lumen hilare" / Richard Proulx. This work is based upon John R. Van Maanen's interpretation of the early Christian chant "Phos Hilaron." Written in plainsong style, the voice is mirrored by the instrumentation and embellishments.

This appears to be a piece for solo recorder (or flute) that can stand on its own or can act as an introduction (and coda) for a sung chant ("Lumen Hilare"). A manuscript (by Proulx) of the vocal chant is also included in this file. It is unclear if either of these manuscripts have been published.
