Missa emmanuel ; Corpus christi mass ; Paschal mass, 2000
Scope and Contents
This manuscript includes one vocal line (“Cantor” and “All”) and an optional organ accompaniment (© 2000 Richard Proulx). There is an indication on the bottom of the first page that Missa Emmanuel was published in 1991 by GIA Publications, Inc. However, this particular manuscript with optional organ accompaniment has a copyright of 2000 by Richard Proulx himself. It is unclear if this particular accompaniment was published. Sections included: Kyrie, Sanctus, Memorial Acclamation, Amen, Agnus Dei. According to an article written by Geoffrey Cox, this Mass was based on the chant Veni Emmanuel (article is included in the file for the Te Deum Mass). The manuscript of Missa Emmanuel makes up the first 4 pages of a 19 page compilation of three Masses (Missa Emmanuel, Corpus Christi Mass, Paschal Mass).
