In addition to two full scores, there is a manuscript of just the congregation's part. It is unclear if this piece is part of a particular Mass setting or if it was ever published. Proulx wrote "Great Amen" in 1976. In the notes at the bottom of the music next to the copyright information, ("© 1976 Richard Proulx") Proulx wrote "Minstrel Publications," though it is unclear what this means since there is no known publisher.
