Prep world, 1933 194? 195? 196? 197? 198? 1993 1994 1995
Scope and Contents
The Prep World was the high school student newspaper of St. John's Preparatory School. It began publication in January 1933 as a biweekly. The newspaper was not published between 1939 and 1946. It became a monthly in 1951. The Sagatagan, the St. John's University yearbook, had included the Prep School though the 1960 issue. In September 1960, the Prep World restarted numbering with volume 1, number 1. It continued to be a monthly newspaper, but was collated at the end of the academic year to also serve as part of the high school yearbook. The 1966-1967 issues revert to the earlier numbering. The Prep World ceased publication in 1995, and was succeeded in 1996 as the high school yearbook by The Pine Curtain.
