Scope and Contents
Upon these rocks is a history of the Catholic Church in the Bahamas, by St. John's University alumnus and president Colman Barry. It has a foreword by Bishop Paul Leonard Hagerty, OSB. The Archives' hardcover copy is inscribed to former archivist and history professor Vincent Tegeder. Fr. Vincent's signature is on the front endpaper, but crossed out. Claire Lynch is the author of chapter 6, on education. Placid Stuckenschneider designed the book jacket.
