Alexius Hoffman tells us, "From 1870-1878 the members issued a manuscript monthly which bore the title of 'Monatsschrift des St. Bonifacius Literar Vereins,'" that only one copy was issued and passed from hand to hand, and that each issue was afterwards "carefully preserved" in the library.
