Photo 1: Boy in shirtsleeves and tie, standing with his hands in his pockets, on a rock in Lake Sagatagan. Quadrangle, Boat house, and old bathhouse on the lakeshore are visible in background. Number "26" written on lower border. "1920-30" on back. Most likely between 1916 and 1923.

2 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches.

Photo 2: Young monk in clerical collar and habit, on stairs outside southeast corner of Quad, near Wimmer Hall. Skyway is brick-covered. On back "Fr. Arno Gustin" is struck out, then "OSB."

3 x 4 1/4 inches. Undated, 1915 or later.

Photo 3: Three boys on ice skates, their arms around each other's shoulders, on lake. At least six other skaters in background. Student in middle is wearing a sweater with SJU (or St J U) interlocking letters logo.

2 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches.

Photo 4: Eight men in a boat named "Sagatagan," on a lake. All but one are wearing hats. Driver is in monastic habit and sits on a wooden chair. At least four of the passengers are monks. On back: "Launch Sagatagan St. J. U."

Was formerly in a scrapbook--partial photo corner in upper right. On postcard stock, cut down to 3 1/2 x 4. Undated. Circa 1915.
