Oswald Baran and Alumni
A group of twenty-five men arranged on the steps of St. John's former church. Oswald Baran is seated at right in the front row. Also seated in the front row are two men in clerical collars. All of the men in the picture except Fr. Oswald are wearing ribbons and holding their hats. Most are also holding overcoats draped over their arm. Many have mustaches.
Most look older than students. Possibly they are alumni of the Commercial Department.
Black and white photograph, brown tone, likely an albumen print. Cabinet card with gold beveled edges. 3 7/8 x 5 3/4 inch print, horizontal format, mounted on white or ivory cardstock, 4 1/4 x 6 3/8 inches.
Back of card has logo for St. John's University Art Gallery, Collegeville, Minn., with artist's palette, bellows camera, two torches.
