Studio portrait of a large group of young men and boys wearing cassock and surplice. Seated in the center of the second row is a monk wearing Roman collar and cuculla.

Black and white photograph, brown tone. Mounted on cream-colored board with beveled edges. Front of mounting board blind embossed with shield, crown, and two lions, and debossed St. John's Studio, Collegeville, Minn.

Written on back:

Same photo as Students, vol. 1, p. 72. That is more contrasty, and has bent corner; this is more faded.
