Tyros Football - 1910
Studio portrait of thirteen young men in football uniforms (padded knickers, ribbed striped socks, and turtleneck sweaters with a wide horizontal stripe), and two in suit and tie. Student in front center, holding football, appears to be affected by achondroplasia (dwarfism). Football lettered "Tyros 1910 Champs."
Intramural football team. They were actually in last place when the season ended early.
Black and white photograph, brown tone. Mounted on cream-colored board with beveled edges. Front of mounting board blind embossed with shield, crown, and two lions, and debossed St. John's Studio, Collegeville, Minn.
