Alumni Meeting -1892 - Saint Cloud Union Band
Large group of men outside the Quadrangle, with a garden in the foreground, and a drum lettered "St. Cloud Union Band" at far right. Alumni are wearing light-colored ribbons. Band members, in uniform, recline or sit in the front two rows. Peter Engel is in habit, and wearing a dark hat, at far right.
Pinholes in the four corners of mounting board.
Written on back: Alumni Meeting, St. John's U. 1892?
Very similar to number 16 in this box, which is dated in the caption as 1891. Peter Engel does not appear in that photo, and the drumhead's lettering is cut off after the first one or two letters of each line.
The St. Cloud Union Band performed at both the 1891 and 1892 alumni annual meetings at St. John's.
