Solemn Communion Class (1885)
Group portrait outside Quadrangle. Six boys, one older man, standing in suit and tie. They wear corsages or boutonnieres and ribbons, and hold candles. Seated in front center, in habit, is Chrysostom Schreiner.
Boy third from right is identified as alumnus William E. Semper '83.
Black and white photo, brown tone. Cabinet card. 1/2 x 1/4 inch rectangle torn out from right edge of photo. On back: First Solemn Communion Class, about 1885. The word "First" is crossed out.
