These four were all students at St. John's in 1897-1898 and 1898-1899.
Studio portrait of four boys dressed as altar servers. They have hands folded, and are wearing light-colored cassocks, dark fascias, and lace surplices. They stand beside a table with two candlesticks, a censer, and an incense boat.
Black and white photograph, brown tone. Cabinet card, gray with beveled edges and two narrow silver rules around area for photograph. Names on back. Two pinholes: one in upper right of card, the other at lower left in the painter's palette logo.
Bottom front of card stamped in silver: St. John's Studio, Collegeville, Minn. Before the words is a painter's palette with the letters St J S.
