Alleluia (#361); Memorial acclamation (#397); Amen (#413)
Alleluia (#361); Memorial acclamation (#397); Amen (#413) Besides the numbering of the music (apparently from some hymnal), there is no indication of who the original composer was. Proulx apparently created these arrangements to be used as the organ accompaniment for them.
Danish Amen, Acclamation, 1990
Amen -- 'Danish'; Acclamation -- 'Danish'
This manuscript was in a file with manuscripts of other Masses that Proulx rearranged the organ accompaniment for (for manuals only or with pedal). There are two slightly different accompaniments here. It looks as though he made some changes as to which would be an acclamation and which would be the "Amen."
Et cum spiritu tuo. Amen.
Besides this sung response (SATB) to the priest's Latin greetings, in this file are also the following: an opening antiphon for the blessing of palms for Palm Sunday ("Hosanna to the Son..."), an offertory anthem for Palm Sunday ("Insult has broken my heart…"), and a communion song for Palm Sunday ("Father, if this cup..."). It is unclear if any of this was ever published.
Eucharistic Acclamations from "German Mass", 1989
Duetche Messe, 1826. Adapted by Richard Proulx.
Fanfare, gradual, and alleluia: Votive Mass of St. Charles Borromeo
Fanfare, gradual, and alleluia: Votive Mass of St. Charles Borromeo OVERSIZE This appears to be part of a larger piece of music. Judging from the manuscript, there is a brass introduction to this piece that is not included here.
Feast of the Holy Name: Introit, Alleluia, Communion Song
Feast of the Holy Name: Introit, Alleluia, Communion Song
German Mass: Eucharistic Acclamations, 2003
Eucharistic Acclamations. Franz Peter Schubert, arranged by Richard Proulx. String Quartet score. Memorial Acclamation 1, Memorial Acclamation 2, Amen, Doxology.
Gloria : paschal mass
Gloria : paschal mass / Richard Proulx. Sub-title : Cantor, Assembly, Organ edition Publisher's no.: G-5537 This leaf appears to be part of a much larger work. Frequent references are made to other pages, and a mass would most certainly be longer.
Gospel acclamation : missa pro defunctis
Gospel acclamation : missa pro defunctis / Richard Proulx. This mass work is written for large ensemble, but may be incomplete. A mass work would include all mass parts and not just the gospel acclamation. The final section is blurred, making it difficult
Holy, Holy, Holy; Great Amen, 1977
Holy, Holy, Holy; Great Amen
This is a manuscript of a "Holy, Holy" and "Great Amen" that has the same tune and accompaniment for both. There is no indication which Mass this is from. It is written for organ (or guitar and bass), flute, triangle, cantor, congregation, and SATB choir.
