An acoustical Psalm 137, 1990
An acoustical psalm 137 Psalm 137, alt Austin C. Lovelace [text] Tonus Peregrinus adapted Richard Proulx This is a musical spoof, a humorous cry for help because of dead acoustics. Included in the notes of the English text is a translation into Latin (also very humorous).
And I Saw Heaven
And I saw heaven OVERSIZE. Anthem by Edgar L. Bainton Revelations XXI, vv.1-4 This score is something that Proulx cut and pasted together. The vocal and organ parts are photocopies of Edgar L. Bainton’s published piece. The other instrumental parts are handwritten. I do not know if these parts were actually composed by Richard Proulx or if they were Bainton’s music just rewritten by hand to create a score.
And peace to his people on earth Noel, Noel!
And peace to his people on earth (Noel, Noel!) Christmas Carol SATB, a cappella Eustache du Caurroy, 1544-1609
This piece was in a file entitled, "RP scores, work on." Originally, it was a piece written by Eustache Du Caurroy entitled, "Noel, Noel!" Proulx has changed the piece by changing all of the text. It is unclear if this new arrangement has been published.
And the best is love, 1969
