These are photocopies of Bates' original manuscripts. Also included in this file is a letter from Gerald Bales dated July 5, 1983, identifying that this music was being sent to Proulx, and that another set of parts for a song entitled "Variants" would follow. It is unclear if Bales ever published this piece.
