The limits of power, by Senator Eugene McCarthy, argues that the United States cannot be the world's policeman and that foreign policy should be based on the actual situation rather than bound by preconceived ideologies. McCarthy was an alumnus of the Prep School and of St. John's University, and taught education in the university.
