UMAIE, 1966-1972 SJU Dean Dunstan Tucker to SJU President Mary Grell in re their plans regarding study abroad, September 28, 1966 Inauguration of the CSB Study Abroad Program: News Statement, Fall 1969: They study in Ansembourg Castle in Luxembourg, 300-years old, and organized by Vita International Association. Seven colleges in the U.S. are participating. During Fall Semester 1969 fifteen CSB students and five SJU students along with Sister Incarnata Girgin and Sister Clarus Himsel. During second semester 15 CSB and 15 SJU students. Charles Villette will also participate. See "Landmarks," October 1969. Minutes of the CSB/SJU Committee on International Education, October 19, November 9, 1970, November 23, December 7, 1970 and March 1, 1971: Discussion centered on: 1] encouraging foreign students on our two campuses; 2] participation in Study Abroad programs (Sister Firmin Escher encouraged this idea) AIE -- 1972-1973 correspondence on cooperation with UMAIE + 1980 Group Leader's Manual Study Abroad in Fall 1973 (+ fall 1974) in St. Gallen, Switzerland (German); in Barcelona, Spain, and in Cannes, France. The file also includes correspondence on financial aid, study abroad programs in 1973.
