Bahamas Program Graduation Celebrations and Anniversaries, 1974-2000

The Bahamian women who attended CSB in MN for at least one semester in their senior year participated in the Commencement exercises on the CSB campus. After that the administrators of the Bahamas Program prepared a celebration of those graduates. At first it was called an "Annual Celebration," and later it was called a "Thanksgiving Celebration." By 1998 the seniors attended a Commencement exercise in Nassau after the December commencement was dropped. In addition to these celebrations, the 20th anniversary of CSB/SJU Bahamas Campus was celebrated on January 14, 1995 and Presidents Colman O'Connell and Dietrich Reinhart participated. A President's Reception for President Mary Lyons was celebrated on January 30, 1997. And on November 12, 1999, President Mary Lyons attended the celebration of "25 years of Quality Education in the Bahamas, 1974-1999."
