Joint Academic Administrators (JAA) Minutes The term and the initials change from time to time. E.G., in 1981-1982, the group of joint administrators referred to themselves as the JAA or the Joint Academic Affairs Administration. By 1993, it was shortened to JAA or Joint Academic Affairs or sometimes called Joint Academic Administrators.
